When Cornelius O’Driscoll set up his veterinary practice in Bandon in 1915, he could not have dreamed that it would still be serving the people of West Cork a century later. Do I need to microchip my pet? What are the benefits in microchipping?
Microchipping is compulsory for all dogs since March 2016. It’s a small chip inserted between shoulder blades. We register the microchip with your contact details with FIDO, one of the main databases in Ireland, which allows quick and easy searching if your pet is found away from home.
